Our Leaders

Origins Leadership

Servanthood is the ultimate mark of a leader. Jesus himself said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:42-45)

Mark 10.42-45

The Leadership team serves Origins Church by meeting the needs of the Origins family, leading the Origins family into God’s vision for our future, and shouldering the ultimate responsibility for the spiritual health of Origins. All of this is pursued in the context of unity and relationship.

Our Leadership structure is comprised of a Leadership Forum, a Servant’s Council and our Staff Team.

The Leadership Forum is the largest group and is comprised of all those who are shepherding and leading within the greater Origins Community.

The Servants’ Council functions as our biblical eldership and is a subset of the Leadership Forum. Members of the Council serve on rolling two-year terms. The Council meets to provide leadership and direction the greater Origins Community.

Our Staff Team functions as a team of catalytic pastoral leaders who serve Origins Church by equipping, empowering and sending others into servanthood and influence.
